"I've been with this school for almost 2 years and it's been great! When I first started out everyone was supportive and still are today. The people here are very welcoming and nice, we are like one big family, this school is like a second home." Philip R. (Student - Tang Soo Do) "I started classes at WCMA about a year and a half ago to learn self defense. I never thought today I would be competing and winning first place competitions. WCMA has a really great atmosphere and experienced black belt instructors who really know what they are doing." Jennifer V. (Student - Tang Soo Do / Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) It's closing in on fours years that my son and I have been training at World Class Martial Arts, and the experience has been both challenging and rewarding, but well worth it. My wife and I wanted to enroll our son in karate as we felt it would be a great opportunity for him to learn self-defense, stay physically active and mentally focused. I don't think we could have imagined just how big of a positive impact WCMA would have on all of our lives. After interviewing several other local karate schools we were extremely impressed with the unique and diverse approach WCMA offered in teaching it's students self-defense skills as well as 'moral codes' to follow in everyday life. Before long I found myself training along side of my son as a martial arts student as well. This unique opportunity to take karate with my son has allowed me to grow extremely close not only as a father and son, but friends as well. It's been such a pleasure for my wife and I to be active participants in our son's growth, both physically and mentally. Karate at WCMA has most certainly helped our son build self confidence, self respect, concentration and integrity while learning self-defense. As an added benefit to being students/parents we have also had the great fortune to develop numerous close friendships with fellow students and their families as well. Looking back over the past four years my wife and I are proud to say that joining the WCMA family is one of the best decisions we've made for ourselves and our son. Chris M (Student and Parent of Student - Tang Soo Do) What a great place to train. Everyone from the instructors down to the other students are caring and helpful. Our entire family, two children, wife and myself, has been training at WCMA for several years now and having this as a common interest has been great for us. Martial arts has given my children a sense of accomplishment and life long skill. It is also a great way to make new friends. From the day I started, almost 3 yrs ago, I was welcomed into the school and made to feel part of the family. That's right - family. The students all have a common goal and that is to see each other succeed. They are there to push and help each other every step of the way. I recommend WCMA to anybody looking to train and challenge themselves. John P (Entire family of 4 trains) World Class Martial Arts has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. Mr. Aaron and his instructors are very supportive and helpful to all students. They focus on each student individually and help the students achieve their personal best. I highly recommend World Class Martial Arts whether you are a young child or adult. Carol S (Parent) It all started when WCMA has the karate club at Norwood School. Our oldest daughter Melanie attended the karate club once a month which was run by Mr. Kevin. She showed great interest in martial arts and after a few weeks we signed her up at WCMA. Then her brother Stephen and her sister Isabella followed and joined WCMA. We have been coming here for almost seven years, WCMA is like our second home. We come 2-3 times a week, 3 - 5 hours a day for classes and training. We just love it here, the instructors are awesome, superb and very qualified for the job they do. They are all Masters with different backgrounds and that is why WCMA is unique. Each Master Instructor brings a different perspective when teaching the martial arts. I am not sure if you can find a school with three Master Instructors and very great looking guys like Mr. Aaron, Mr. Vic and Mr. Jerry ( a lady's point of view ). With the addition of Miss. Leeann, we have seen a more dynamic instructor core and we are very excited that she will be instructing full time. When we signed up our children we really did not know what to expect. We have gotten more in return than we could have imagined when our children first started. They continue to grow with discipline, respect and competitiveness. We have been to a lot of tournaments, local, states and nationals and they all excelled. Melanie is now a 2nd degree black belt in Tang So Do and a two time National Champion. Stephen is a first degree black belt in Tang So Do and a National Champion. Isabella should be testing for her black belt in one year or so. Our children share what they learn by teaching other children in class. To help round out their martial arts' skills, both Melanie and Stephen have started Jiu-Jitsu. Stephen just placed 2nd in his first Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Stephen & Bleselda B (Parents) |
